The questions we hear most about our spices, sourcing and orders.

Each spice comes from one specific valley and cooperative, never blended across regions. That’s why every lot lists its origin and altitude — so the character of where it grew stays intact, all the way to your kitchen.
Keep them in an airtight container, away from heat, light and moisture — a cool, dark cupboard is ideal. Whole spices keep their aroma far longer than ground; crush or grind them just before cooking for the best flavour.
We harvest in season, mill in small batches, and keep every lot traceable to its harvest month. Nothing sits on a shelf for a year — that’s the whole point.
Most of our spices are sold whole to protect their volatile oils, with select items ground to order. The format is noted on each product.

As spices are perishable food, opened products can’t be returned for hygiene reasons — but anything damaged, incorrect or missing is covered. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Once your order ships we’ll send an update and a tracking reference where available. If you’re unsure about a delivery, just contact us.
